Which States Require Coggins Testing?

All 50 states require a negative Coggins test result as part of traveling and/or bringing a horse into their state. Most include this test as part of a larger permit process for traveling across state lines, making a sale, or attending a horse event. Due to the serious and infectious nature of EIA, however, there are really no exceptions to valid Coggins testing.
