Primarily a pet-based animal clinic, in May of 2018, Dade City Animal Clinic announced they are now offering APHIS-approved and Florida-licensed Coggins testing. The clinic currently has two licensed veterinarians: Chester W. Taylor, III, DVM (Dr. Chet), and Jeffery Alt, DVM, as well as a dedicated staff of nearly a dozen vet technicians and office support staff. Christina Sawyer is their large animal manager and EIA laboratory director. She has tons of experience with horses in multiple settings, as well as her own beloved horse, Little Man.
The Dade City Animal Clinic knows what Coggins testing means for equine health as well as your basic ability to travel with your horse. They offer three different options for expedited testing: Standard testing offers 48-72 hour results for $30. Next-Day testing is $60. STAT testing offers results within an hour for $90. Like the rest of their veterinary practice, they will take great care in performing your equine testing and diagnostic service.
