Since 2011, the Georgia Equine Veterinary Services in Canton, Georgia has offered complete equine ambulatory veterinary and emergency care services. They also have a full-service in-house laboratory and modern surgical facility. They are committed to working with clients based on mutual respect and compassion in providing the best quality-of-life equine patients. At the same time, Georgia Equine Veterinary Services is always open to discussing the costs of various treatment options. They recognize it’s appropriate to consider costs when making veterinary decisions.

The Georgia Equine Veterinary Hospital and Services have state-of-the-art diagnostic tools that provide fast and accurate results across a wide range of diagnostic services, including EIA Coggins testing. Their facility also offers the following advanced diagnostic capabilities:

  • Full Service In House Laboratory

While we know this lab is APHIS-accredited to perform Coggins testing, they have minimal information about this test on their website and no information about submitting samples through the mail or courier service. Plus, they do make a conscious effort to define their service area and provide timely equine veterinary services to their local community. They service area covers Alpharetta, Ball Ground, Canton, Cumming, Dawsonville, Milton, Roswell and Woodstock. Their ethical and knowledgeable staff consists of two licensed vets, three vet tech assistants, and an office manager.
