First established in 1993, Equine Veterinary Care at the Fair Hill Training Center offers state-of-the-art diagnostic services across a variety of treatment modalities. Their skilled, dedicated team provides ambulatory and clinic-based equine care to both pleasure and performance horses. Located in the northeast corner of Maryland, this clinic also provides veterinary services to horse owners and stable managers in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and throughout the mid-Atlantic states.
They have a Coggins lab that runs AGID tests for equine infectious anemia in 24 hours and ELISA tests in 4 hours. With their electronic reporting, you can access digital test results 24 hours a day. Two federally-accredited technicians staff the facility Monday through Saturday for both their own clients’ horses as well as independent veterinarians. You can find downloadable forms for the clinic here.
The Equine Veterinary Center specializes in sports medicine, soundness issues, digital imaging, and pre-purchase exams. They offer minor surgical procedures. They also offer intensive medical care for colic patients, respiratory cases and severe wounds, and other equine care. Above all else, they want you and your equines to thrive.
