Located in northwest Omaha and also serving the Council Bluffs and Lincoln metro areas, Nebraska Equine Veterinary Clinic is proud to offer exceptional veterinary equine care, while also building relationships in the equine community. Their three licensed and full-time vet practitioners are as compassionate as they are experienced.
Their comprehensive set of equine services includes routine and preventative care, in-house laboratory testing, emergency, surgical, reproduction, dentistry, chiropractic work, and consultations and pre-purchase exams. Their delivery model allows for in-clinic care, farm calls, and boarding facilities. This includes their Coggins testing for equine infectious anemia. While their test costs just over $30, their health exam and blood draw depends on whether you’d prefer to bring your horse in or how far their vets have to travel to reach your farm. They also provide wide-ranging diagnostic services including labs, radiology, endoscopy, ad ultrasound.
The clinic is open 8am – 5pm most days of the week. They don’t open till 9am on Thurs. You can call to make an appointment for Saturdays, but otherwise the weekend is only for emergency cases.
