This veterinary diagnostic laboratory started in 2002 as a small-scale community vet lab and has since grown into full-fledged APHIS-approved diagnostic lab with a focus on equine vet services. Known for reliable testing and impeccable service, Laboratory Solutions serves the entire state of South Carolina and veterinarians across the Southeast region. Their team is composed of 3 highly trained lab professionals and one person managing their daily courier service.

In addition to Coggins testing for equine infectious anemia, the lab boasts a huge Microbiology section with a wide variety of tests that covers most pathogen identification and susceptibility testing. Their flexible form submission and test reporting options include VSPS/E-Coggins, paper form VS 10-11, and GlobalVetLink with free digital reporting.

As part of their customer service, they provide an entire chart of turnaround times for routine Coggins testing, depending on how the samples are received and on what day of the week. You can ship samples to the lab on your own, use their prepaid shipping labels, or local veterinarians can take advantage of their courier service. For last-minute planning, they also provide rushed ELISA testing with results in as little as an hour. Other notable online resources include tips for shipping samples and a full explanation of available shipping options. Their office hours are Monday through Friday 9am – 6pm with the local-area courier service running in the afternoons from 4:30pm – 6pm.
