Its location also makes the ADRDL an indispensable regional laboratory for the Food Emergency Response Network (FERN). Since 1887, the lab has served the state wand region with timely and accurate veterinary diagnostic services. Their dedicated team of licensed veterinarians, laboratory technicians, and administrative staff works with state-of-the-art facilities and lab equipment to perform diagnostic services designed to protect animals as well as the public health.
This includes testing for equine infectious anemia. AGID Coggins tests are available in 1-3 business days, while ELISA tests are available the same day. Both tests are available at affordable prices. Find can find their full list of tests and fees as well as the general guidelines for submitting samples to the Serology lab section. Following these guidelines will ensure the most accurate results possible. Label all samples with an ID on the tube, not on the stopper. With its goal of monitoring animal diseases, the lab also reserves the right to conduct Coggins testing on any sample submission without notice and at no additional cost to the client. Other lab sections include histopathology, molecular diagnostics, pathology, necropsy, and virology.
