Crossroads Veterinary Clinic strives to building a lasting relationship with their clients while focusing on long-term and full-service veterinary care. While they offer 24/7 emergency care, their focus is on preventative medicine and client education. This mixed-animal vet practice was established in 2009. The clinic is located in a restored historical building in Victoria, TX with new state-of-the-art facilities opening in 2017. These facilities include an in-house laboratory capable of Coggins testing for equine infectious anemia with digital reporting of test results and health certificates. Crossroads Veterinary Clinic continues to incorporate new veterinary technologies to provide the most comprehensive care for their clients.

In addition to small animal services, CVC offers a full range of equine care including digital ultrasonography an radiography, reproductive services, lameness evaluation, dentistry, surgery, pre-purchase exams. Along with Coggins testing for equine infectious anemia, their in-house laboratory can run quick blood work and diagnostic tests to ensure your horses get treatment as quickly as possible. Their Herd Health/Preventative Medicine program is tailored to horses of all ages with protocols that include vaccinations, parasite evaluation, de-worming, fertility testing, palpation for pregnancy, teeth floating, Coggins test, and health certificates.

Their full staff of nearly two dozen includes two licensed veterinary doctors and numerous vet technicians and support staff. Horse owners are typically most interested in meeting Dr. Sam Williams, who is the clinic’s large-animal veterinarian. Their hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30am – 5:30pm, but they’re open until 6:30pm on Tuesdays and closed on weekends.
