Founded in 2012 by Dr. Joe Cannon who grew up in Green’s Creek on an 80-acre farm near Dublin, Green’s Creek Veterinary Hospital is a full-service, mixed-animal veterinary hospital. Dr. Joe Cannon has more than four decades of experience with equine care including extensive time with race track work. The rest of the team includes a second vet practitioner, equine dental provider, and grooming specialist.

Green’s Creek Veterinary Hospital offers a full range of wellness exams and preventative care including Coggins testing for equine infectious anemia. They provide basic information about traveling with your horse and warn that some areas require a negative Coggins test within the past 6 months. This APHIS-approved Coggins laboratory offers routine and STAT testing with results available in as little as 45 minutes. Other available equine wellness services include vaccinations and pre-purchase exams.

Dentistry, surgery, reproduction, lameness exams, internal medicine, and diagnostics are also among their equine care services. Digital radiology, endoscopy, and ultrasound all help ensure accurate information, fast results, and high-quality veterinary care. Their mobile veterinary services can be especially helpful to horse owners and is offered during regular business hours and for 24/7 emergency care. Their regular hours are 8am – 6pm Monday through Friday and 8am – 1pm on Saturdays. Closed Sundays.
