Established in 1991, Lone Star Park Equine Hospital (LSPEH) is a full-service equine referral hospital located at the Lone Star Park Race Track in Grand Prairie, Texas. The goal of this hospital is to help develop winning performance and pleasure horses through diagnostics, medical and surgical services.  With collaboration between referring veterinarians, owners and the LSPEH, horses receive the highest possible standard of veterinary care. With staff onsite 24 hours a day, their emergency care is always available when you need it. They also ambulatory care for farm calls as well as onsite services at equestrian events. Along with emergency care, their areas of focus include lameness exams, respiratory health, and soft tissue/orthopedic surgery.

This fully-equipped referral hospital also does USDA-accredited regulatory EIA Coggins testing. Their in-house laboratory conducts complete blood counts (CBC), blood gas analysis, foal IGg snap tests, chemistry and electrolyte panels. Other diagnostic services include a 1M, 3M, and dynamic Olympus video endoscope, digital radiology, and digital ultrasound. They can identify the right treatment for your horse quickly and accurately.

Lone Star Park Equine Hospital has 3 licensed vet practitioners and impressive facilities that include a hospital barn with 30 in-patient stalls, 5 stall intensive care barn, lameness pad, surgery suite with 2 viewing windows, padded induction and recovery room, 2 exam rooms with stocks, 2 full-service ambulatory vehicles, advanced in-house laboratory, and a range of equine therapy services.
