The mission of Southwest Texas Veterinary Medical Center is to provide consistent and excellent veterinary care to their animal patients and clients throughout South Texas. Since 1988, Southwest Texas Veterinary Medical Center has continued to grow and add new technologies and resources, while fulfilling this mission. Today, they offer a broad range of diagnostic, medical, dental, preventative and surgical services to mixed animal populations, including horses and other equine species. This includes an in-house diagnostic laboratory that is APHIS-approved for Coggins testing.
From pet ponies to western performance horses, their team can put together an individualized care program for your equines. They provide lameness evaluations, digital radiography, ultrasound, reproduction, endoscopy, annual vaccinations, dental exams, and more. Ambulatory field services are also available.
Southwest Texas Veterinary Medical Center values education—both client education and continuing education for their entire staff so that everybody stays current on the latest advancements and procedures.
