Stoneridge Veterinary Services is owned and managed by Dr. Stacy B. Smitherman, who is something of a veterinarian extraordinaire. A member of AETA, AQHA, AVMA, and APHA, a Texas A&M graduate, and licensed in both Texas and Oklahoma, Smitherman and his laboratory are certified to run Coggins testing for equine infectious anemia. Stoneridge Veterinary Services is known for high-quality, large animal veterinary care and personal service for clients.

Along regulatory Coggins testing and other laboratory diagnostics, their routine wellness care offers vaccines, de-worming, and dental care, all designed to keep your horse(s) as healthy as possible. Other equine services include stallion collection, reproduction, performance, dentistry, general medicine, surgery, lameness diagnostics, embryo transfer, digital radiology, and artificial insemination.

About the only type of equine care you may have trouble getting from Stoneridge is 24/7 emergency care. Without a larger practice of multiple vets and vet technicians, just make sure you have a contingency large animal hospital to contact in case something urgent should go wrong after hours. The hours of operation for Stoneridge Veterinary Services are 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday.
