Originally established in 1991, Marshfield Laboratories now has multiple diagnostic laboratories and is one of the more popular diagnostic lab solutions for veterinarians across the Midwest and throughout the country. Part of the Marshfield Clinic system, the Division of Laboratory Medicine (DLM) has established a Quality Management Plan with highly regulated process control and test proficiency monitoring. Their pathologists and diagnostic laboratory team are committed to providing high-quality laboratory service to clients and their patients which goes above and beyond industry standards. They perform a huge range of tests and services including Coggins tests for equine infectious anemia.

The Wisconsin Marshfield laboratory offers AGID testing Monday through Saturday with turnaround times of just one day. Federal form VS 10-11 and 0.5-1 ml of serum are required for the EIA Coggins test. Otherwise, submitting a request for testing is incredibly easy. There’s no need to submit separate requisition forms for each sample because Marshfield Labs uses barcode labels for clients submitting many specimens at once.

Veterinarians and other interested parties can also find comprehensive online resources for submitting samples and test requests to the lab including specimen collection and packaging guidelines. Marshfield Labs is known for comprehensive testing, accurate and timely results with reasonable prices, convenient pickup through ground and air courier services, and online reporting and account services.
